On the day I entered my 33rd year of life... we decided to go and enjoy the leaves changing color in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. As I turn another year older, the leaves turn color and the tree begins a new phase. I am hoping that there are only good things to come and that I can change. I hope to be healthier in this 33rd year so that I have many more birthdays to come. I wish that the photos could really show you how beautiful the mountains of New Hampshire are at this awesome time of year. I have to say, I think the fall is my favorite of all seasons. EXCEPT when the bitter cold settles in. We had to make the most of the opportunity to head up to the mountains because we do not know where our journey will bring us in 9 months. (NO BABY)... in 9 short months, Chris is due to transfer. We do not know where or what will happen but we need to make sure we make the most of our experience here in the northeast.
If you ever get the chance, you have to see the leaves of the mountains as they change color and give your senses an awesome invigorating sensation! Oh, and the SMELL... I wish I could bottle it up... incredible.
Oh wow! Those fall colors are so amazing - gorgeous pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
Looks like you had a wonderful birthday. Our lives do have many seasons, the changing leaves are a perfect symbol. I hope your new year is filled with love and accomplishment. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family!
Wow! You got some awesome pictures. The leaves have started falling here (VA), but I haven't really seen a pretty fall tree yet. I grew up in TX and didn't get to see all the pretty trees until we moved to this area. I love it!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the falafel that I posted about on this weeks Menu Plan is awesome! We will have it many more times! One thing (if you try it), the recipe says it makes 8, but I think it should be more like 16. I made the first few larger and they tried to fall apart. The smaller ones worked much better.
